What Makes This Listing Specific
This page focuses on the exact 2018 2018 Sage Hit Premier Draft Josh Allen card A 38, rather than treating every Josh Allen card as the same collectible. The listing provides useful identifiers including set 2018 Sage Hit Premier Draft, card number A 38, parallel Autograph Black and manufacturer SAGE.
Those identifiers matter because cards from the same player can have very different supply, collector interest and prices when the set, card number, parallel or grade changes. As a current era card, it should be compared with cards from the same release whenever possible.
Player and Set Context
This card has a clear place in the player's hobby story. Josh Allen cards center on his 2018 rookie class and Buffalo quarterback career, with graded rookies and short print parallels drawing the most direct comparisons. The 2018 2018 Sage Hit Premier Draft release gives this card a specific place in the player's collecting timeline, which helps narrow meaningful price comparisons.
Value Factors to Compare
Two cards with the same player name can sell for very different amounts. For 2018 2018 Sage Hit Premier Draft Josh Allen card A 38, the following details are the ones worth matching first. The current listing is asking USD 679.00, so these factors are the best starting point for checking that ask against other copies.
- The 2018 release and how much collector demand exists for that year.
- Demand for the 2018 Sage Hit Premier Draft set compared with other issues of the same player.
- Whether comparable sales match card number A 38.
- The exact Autograph Black parallel rather than the base version.
- The SGC 9 grade and how many comparable copies are available.
Price History and Market Trend
This listing is currently asking $679.00. Fewer than two reliable matching price points are available, so the plugin is not inventing a six month average.
Condition Checklist for This Card
This copy is listed as SGC 9. The grade gives a useful shorthand, but it should not be the only thing you inspect. Check the label details, certification number, holder condition and the card itself through the plastic because eye appeal can vary between two cards with the same numeric grade.
For a modern card, inspect glossy surfaces carefully because scratches, dimples, print lines and small edge defects can be easier to miss in listing photos. Chrome style and foil finishes can show flaws differently depending on lighting. eBay currently labels the listing condition as Graded, but the photos and grading information should carry more weight than the marketplace condition field alone.

How to Compare This Card With Recent Sales
When researching a Josh Allen card, start narrow and widen the search only when exact matches are scarce. For this listing, try to match year 2018, set 2018 Sage Hit Premier Draft, card number A 38, parallel Autograph Black and grade SGC 9.
Completed sales usually deserve more weight than unsold asking prices. If only active listings are available, treat the range as seller expectations rather than a confirmed market value. Where This Card Can Fit in a Collection
How much this card matters to a collection depends on the goal. A player collector may value the release differently from a set builder or someone assembling a run of graded copies. The 2018 Sage Hit Premier Draft set gives this copy a clear place to compare against other cards from the same product.
Before buying, decide whether you want the exact card shown, the best condition you can afford, or simply one representative copy. That decision can keep you from paying a premium for a grade, parallel or feature that does not matter to your collection. Because this listing is identified as the Autograph Black version, make sure that variation is the one you actually want rather than a base card that may be easier to find.
Collector Checklist
A few card details are worth noting. Sport is listed as Football and parallel is listed as Autograph Black. The safest comparison is with sold copies that match both the card and the grade. I would also verify the certification number before making a decision.
Buying With Future Resale in Mind
If you may resell 2018 2018 Sage Hit Premier Draft Josh Allen card A 38 later, save the purchase record and keep the card protected from new wear. Clear documentation makes it easier to describe exactly what you own when you create a future listing. For this graded copy, keeping the certification number with your records also makes future verification easier.
A strong resale listing should make the card easy to identify. Include the exact release details, honest condition information and enough photos for a buyer to judge corners, edges, centering and surface. The current listing is from seller dickandjanessportscards with feedback shown as 99.9% positive, 13,335 feedback, which gives you one example of how the card is being presented today. The current buying format is Buy It Now, so remember that auction results and fixed asking prices are not directly interchangeable when you review future comps.
