This listing gives collectors another look at a 2024 Drake Maye card that is currently on eBay. It comes from 2024 Topps Chrome Future Stars and the card number is FSA DM. For condition, eBay currently shows Ungraded. The current eBay price is USD 575.00, listed by sandscards2.
What Could Hold Back the Grade
The main grade pressure points to inspect on this kind of card are small dimples, roller marks or other glossy surface defects, edge or corner whitening that can be easy to miss in listing photos and left to right and top to bottom centering on the bordered design.
For numeric context, PSA publishes an approximate PSA 10 centering tolerance of 55/45 on the front and 75/25 on the reverse. PSA describes a Mint 9 as centered no worse than 60/40, so a small centering shift can be enough to separate a 9 from a 10 even before surface, corner and edge flaws are considered.
PSA grading standards. Population figures change as additional cards are graded.
Condition Review Before You Buy
For a raw copy, zoom in on the front and back photos before buying. Check centering, all four corners, edge wear, surface scratches, print lines, dents and any marks that may be hard to see in a single photo. Ask for additional images when an important area is hidden by glare or a sleeve.
For a modern card, inspect glossy surfaces carefully because scratches, dimples, print lines and small edge defects can be easier to miss in listing photos. Chrome style and foil finishes can show flaws differently depending on lighting. eBay currently labels the listing condition as Ungraded, but the photos and grading information should carry more weight than the marketplace condition field alone.
Understanding This Exact Card
The important starting point with this listing is its exact identity: 2024 2024 Topps Chrome Future Stars Drake Maye card FSA DM. The listing provides useful identifiers including set 2024 Topps Chrome Future Stars, card number FSA DM and manufacturer Topps.
Those identifiers matter because cards from the same player can have very different supply, collector interest and prices when the set, card number, parallel or grade changes. The listing also identifies this as a rookie issue, so confirming the exact release is especially important before using another rookie sale as a comp.
Why Collectors Care About This Card
This card has a clear place in the player's hobby story. Drake Maye is part of the 2024 NFL quarterback rookie class, which makes early licensed rookies, parallels and graded copies the main reference points for collectors. Chrome releases are built around refractor style parallels and glossy surfaces, so collectors usually care about the exact parallel, card number and grade rather than the player name alone.
