Here is one current eBay listing for a 2021 Babe Ruth card. It comes from 2021 Topps Diamond Icons and the card number is DR BR. The condition shown by eBay is Ungraded. It is currently priced at USD 750.00 by seller santiago_sports.
Why This Card Matters
The player and release context are what make this card worth separating from generic listings. Babe Ruth is a foundational prewar baseball subject, so cards tied to him carry historical weight well beyond a normal player issue. Topps and Bowman issues are often collected as core baseball references, so year, card number, rookie designation and exact variation matter when comparing value.
Card Identity and Release Details
The important starting point with this listing is its exact identity: 2021 2021 Topps Diamond Icons Babe Ruth card DR BR. The listing provides useful identifiers including set 2021 Topps Diamond Icons, card number DR BR and manufacturer Topps.
Those identifiers matter because cards from the same player can have very different supply, collector interest and prices when the set, card number, parallel or grade changes. As a current era card, it should be compared with cards from the same release whenever possible.

Key Price Drivers for This Card
Two cards with the same player name can sell for very different amounts. For 2021 2021 Topps Diamond Icons Babe Ruth card DR BR, the following details are the ones worth matching first. The current listing is asking USD 750.00, so these factors are the best starting point for checking that ask against other copies.
- The 2021 release and how much collector demand exists for that year.
- Demand for the 2021 Topps Diamond Icons set compared with other issues of the same player.
- Whether comparable sales match card number DR BR.
- The raw condition shown in the photos, including centering, corners, edges and surface.

Condition Checklist for This Card
For a raw copy, zoom in on the front and back photos before buying. Check centering, all four corners, edge wear, surface scratches, print lines, dents and any marks that may be hard to see in a single photo. Ask for additional images when an important area is hidden by glare or a sleeve.
For a modern card, inspect glossy surfaces carefully because scratches, dimples, print lines and small edge defects can be easier to miss in listing photos. Chrome style and foil finishes can show flaws differently depending on lighting. eBay currently labels the listing condition as Ungraded, but the photos and grading information should carry more weight than the marketplace condition field alone.
Recent Sales and Price Trend
At $750.00, this listing gives one current price point, but the exact match history is still too thin for a responsible six month trend calculation.
Buying Notes for This Card
The listing gives us a few useful card details. Sport is listed as Baseball, team is listed as New York Yankees and features include Diamond Relic, Genuine Diamonds, 5 / 5. Raw cards can look very different in hand, so the listing photos matter a lot. Pay close attention to the corners, edges, centering and surface condition.
Grading Risks for This Card
Before assuming a higher grade, inspect factory print defects that affect overall eye appeal, centering on the front and back and corner sharpness and edge wear.
For numeric context, PSA publishes an approximate PSA 10 centering tolerance of 55/45 on the front and 75/25 on the reverse. PSA describes a Mint 9 as centered no worse than 60/40, so a small centering shift can be enough to separate a 9 from a 10 even before surface, corner and edge flaws are considered.
PSA grading standards. Population figures change as additional cards are graded.
Building a Useful Comp Set
A reliable comp search should match the card first and the player second. That keeps common cards, parallels and different grades from being blended together. For this listing, try to match year 2021, set 2021 Topps Diamond Icons, card number DR BR and similar raw condition.
Look at several recent completed sales instead of relying on one unusually high or low transaction. A small group of close matches is normally more useful than a long list of loosely related cards. Compare the current USD 750.00 ask with that matched group rather than with a broad search for every Babe Ruth card.

Ways Collectors May Approach This Card
How much this card matters to a collection depends on the goal. A player collector may value the release differently from a set builder or someone assembling a run of graded copies. The 2021 Topps Diamond Icons set gives this copy a clear place to compare against other cards from the same product.
Before buying, decide whether you want the exact card shown, the best condition you can afford, or simply one representative copy. That decision can keep you from paying a premium for a grade, parallel or feature that does not matter to your collection.
